Ask the Fedora: Should You Network Even If Your Business Hasn’t Launched Yet?
This week on Ask the Fedora: Should You Network Even If Your Business Hasn’t Launched Yet?
Transcript:
If you’re thinking of starting a business should you go to networking events? I’d say yes it’s a good idea even if you don’t have business cards, a website or even a business name yet. It’s important to see what’s out there because you can start connecting with people and get some of their ideas and see your market research come to fruition. It’s one thing to sit behind a desk and do all the behind the scenes research such as Google and the Ottawa Public Library, but it’s another thing to actually talk to people in person. Ask people’s opinion about some of the issues they think are important for your new business idea. Happy networking everybody. See you at the next event. Because #eSAX makes networking work
Do you have a networking question you’d like to ask? Email info (at) esax.ca or tweet your question using #eSAX!
